I remember on my Wedding Day, Dad went to the dentist in the morning to have an extraction, his face was really swollen from the XLA, he kept apologising for his swollen face. Bless him, I did say no need to apologise, he was worried about the wedding photos. I reassured him everything would be ok. My proudest moment was Dad walking me down the isle and when asked who was giving me away .. Dad said very proudly I do and gave me a big smile and squeeze of my hand. The wedding speech he was so nervous and I was so proud of him. Funny thing was on the way to the church Dad asked if I was sure I wanted to marry Mark, hindsight I we should have taken mum as well and gone for a day out on the Bentley 😆 lol. Dad I loved your laugh and your loving way. You’ll ALWAYS be alive in my heart ❤️.. happy memories.. I loved my cuddles, remembering even as teenager I sat on your lap for a cuddle.
